IS YOUR CHILD PROFICIENT WITH THEIR 123's of MATH?
Here is a great way to make sure your child is keeping up with their basic math skills. They should be proficient with addition and subtraction problems.
For example, they should be able to add and subtract:
- single to single digits numbers (2 + 8 = ?)
- single to double digits numbers (9 + 14 = ?)
- single from single digits (9 - 5 = ?)
- single from double digit (20 - 9 = ?)
- double digits from double digits (40 - 35 = ?)
Please make some personal "MATH" addition and subtraction flash cards to help your child succeed in their math skills. IF they can automatically tell you the answer without hesitation this starts becoming part of their daily mathematical skills.
Every night for about 15 minutes, quiz your child's ability with the flash cards, this will help them grow better in math.
Remember: The better they know their BASIC math skills, the MORE confident they become in math, and the easier it is to learn NEW concepts that are being applied in math.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: I NEED YOUR HELP TO IMPROVE YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING, IF YOU CAN REINFORCE BASIC and NEW SKILLS AT HOME, I CAN HELP THEM GROW TOO!
